Key Responsibilities
As an Emergency Communications Operator at QatarEnergy, your duties include:
- Receiving and managing emergency notifications and calls.
- Dispatching emergency response services quickly and accurately.
- Operating communication and control systems, including Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD).
- Conducting basic troubleshooting of communication systems.
- Maintaining clear, calm, and professional communication during emergencies.
- Supporting operational readiness and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years’ experience in emergency response roles (oil & gas, government authority, or air traffic control).
- Strong knowledge of modern communication and control systems, including CAD.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot communication systems when required.
- Proficiency in English (spoken & written); Arabic preferred (both at Level 5 competency).
- Typing speed of 30+ words per minute.
Educational Qualifications
- Diploma or High School Certificate, complemented by professional work experience.
- Professional qualifications in emergency services dispatching from an internationally recognized body (desirable).
