Key Responsibilities
As an Electrical Technician at ADNOC Gas O&M, you will:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment at the offshore facility.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and test electrical circuits, motors, generators, and control panels.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support commissioning, turnaround, and shutdown activities.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC safety standards, electrical codes, and offshore operational procedures.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records and report equipment status using CMMS software.
- Assist in installation and modification of electrical systems as per project requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency.
Required Skills
- Proficient in electrical troubleshooting and repair techniques.
- Experience working with high voltage systems, motor control centers, PLCs, and instrumentation.
- Strong knowledge of offshore safety regulations and electrical codes.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Skilled in use of electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably in offshore oil and gas operations.
- Valid offshore safety certifications (e.g., BOSIET) preferred.
- Familiarity with ADNOC operational standards is an advantage.
- Willingness to work offshore rotational shifts.
