Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee drone inspections for QatarEnergy and joint venture partners (e.g., Q-Chem, Woqod), covering both onshore and offshore energy sites.
- Plan and execute engineering inspection flights, including 3D modeling of infrastructure and real-time emergency inspections.
- Ensure full compliance with national and international UAV operational regulations, aviation safety standards, and QatarEnergy procedures.
- Work closely with engineering teams, support vessels, and site management to schedule, execute, and document inspection missions.
- Analyze inspection data and deliver high-quality reports using 3D modeling and visualization tools.
- Maintain readiness for emergency drone deployment in critical or time-sensitive scenarios.
- Support the development and implementation of standard operating procedures for UAV inspections in oil and gas environments.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, preferably in logistics or engineering disciplines.
- Proficient in drone regulations, operating requirements, and safe UAV procedures.
- Certified in Dangerous Goods by Sea handling.
- Strong planning, analytical, and reporting skills.
- Familiar with support vessel operations and emergency response protocols.
- Skilled in using MS Word and Excel for documentation and reporting.
- Fluent in spoken and written English (Level 6 proficiency or higher).
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Aviation.
- Additional certifications in UAV/drone operations or aviation safety are a plus.
