Responsibilities
Docking & Vessel Management
- Oversee all operations including berthing, shifting, hauling, docking, undocking, and vessel transfers on the dry berth.
- Review docking plans to ensure technical accuracy—verify hull contours and structural configuration before block placement.
- Develop and manage lifting block configurations customized for each vessel.
Marine Services & Infrastructure
- Maintain dredging operations at the ship lift.
- Plan and uphold dockyard infrastructure to support ongoing operational demands.
- Manage marine services such as crane operations, workboats, transporters, and docking/undocking procedures.
- Oversee execution and supervision of ship transfer systems during docking/undocking segments.
Operational Oversight & Team Leadership
- Monitor subcontracted and infrastructure-related activities, especially at the ship lift.
- Manage, train, and develop dockyard teams—identifying training needs and fostering skill advancement.
- Handle worker assignments and ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned to support operational objectives.
