Key Responsibilities
1. Practice Growth & Solution Leadership
- Develop and expand OCI and hybrid cloud practice offerings, reusable assets, and industry accelerators.
- Identify new market opportunities for OCI-led modernization including IaaS, PaaS, and Autonomous Services.
- Collaborate on go-to-market strategies, solution playbooks, and client engagement models.
2. Client Engagement & Advisory
- Act as a trusted cloud advisor to enterprise clients, guiding hybrid infrastructure strategies integrating OCI, on-premise, and multi-cloud environments.
- Lead client workshops, infrastructure assessments, and cloud migration roadmap development focused on OCI.
- Align technology solutions with client business goals through strategic advisory and architecture design.
3. Delivery Oversight & Technical Enablement
- Provide technical leadership and governance for OCI and hybrid cloud delivery projects.
- Ensure infrastructure designs meet scalability, security, compliance, and operational standards.
- Drive seamless integration of OCI with on-premises systems such as Exadata, VMware, and legacy ERP platforms.
4. Talent Development & Team Leadership
- Mentor architects and cloud engineers on OCI best practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and hybrid cloud networking/security.
- Support internal training programs and certification initiatives to build practice capabilities.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture emphasizing continuous learning and technical excellence.
5. Alliance & Ecosystem Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Oracle account teams and partners to co-create joint cloud solutions.
- Leverage Oracle partner programs, certifications, and funding to enhance client delivery and proof of concepts (POCs).
- Stay abreast of OCI roadmap updates and emerging cloud technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience & Technical Skills
- 12–15 years in cloud and infrastructure engineering roles, with 3–5 years dedicated to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Strong expertise in OCI core services including Compute, Storage, Networking, Autonomous Database, AI/ML services, and Exadata Cloud@Customer.
- Experience with multi-cloud environments and integration strategies involving AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proven track record managing hybrid cloud transformation programs, data center migrations, and ERP cloud hosting.
Leadership & Communication
- Excellent client-facing skills with experience presenting to IT leadership and business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex cloud infrastructure projects.
- Skilled in sales support, proposal development, and technical documentation.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- OCI Architect Associate or Professional certification mandatory.
- Additional certifications in AWS, Azure, VMware, or networking technologies highly desirable.
