Responsibilities

As a Director – Cyber Defense & Resilience, you will:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a high-performing SOC team monitoring incidents 24/7.
  • Establish and enforce SOC policies, playbooks, and escalation frameworks.
  • Oversee threat detection, vulnerability management, and active attack response.
  • Direct incident response efforts, coordinating cross-functional resources during crises.
  • Develop and implement a proactive threat intelligence program.
  • Manage advanced SIEM platforms and security monitoring tools.
  • Design and track SOC KPIs and metrics (incident response times, detection accuracy, etc.).
  • Provide strategic guidance on cybersecurity risk management to senior leadership.
  • Deliver executive-level security reports with key insights and performance analysis.
  • Stay updated on the latest global cybersecurity threats, tools, and trends.

Key Skills & Expertise

  • Proven expertise in incident response, SOC operations, and cyber resilience.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, threat intelligence platforms, and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong leadership in managing large-scale SOC and IR teams.
  • Ability to collaborate with IT, DevOps, Compliance, and Legal teams.
  • In-depth understanding of cybersecurity risk management frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.

Qualifications

  • BE/B.Tech (or equivalent in a relevant field).
  • 12–15 years of proven experience in cyber defense, incident response, and SOC leadership.
