Key Responsibilities
- Engineer, configure, and maintain Windows and MacOS desktops across enterprise environments.
- Deploy devices and applications using cloud-based and legacy methods, including Autopilot, DEP, SCCM, Intune, and Jamf.
- Troubleshoot and resolve desktop issues related to Windows, MacOS, OPP, IE/Edge, Chrome, Teams, Skype, and OneDrive.
- Manage desktop policies, compliance, and security baselines using industry-standard tools.
- Automate desktop processes using PowerShell and Bash scripting.
- Collaborate with globally distributed teams to deliver seamless IT support and configuration.
- Document processes, fixes, and workflows to maintain operational knowledge and compliance.
- Support network-related desktop issues (DNS, DHCP, PAC Files, Firewalls, Zscaler, Proxies).
- Assist in application and machine virtualization projects across Windows and MacOS.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Windows Desktop OS and MacOS management.
- Experience with endpoint management tools: SCCM, Intune, Jamf, GPMC.
- Familiarity with modern deployment methodologies: Autopilot, DEP.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for desktop apps and network configurations.
- Ability to automate processes using PowerShell, Bash, and scripting languages.
- Strong interpersonal, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently under pressure and manage critical incidents.
- Knowledge of Azure AD and Microsoft cloud services.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- Approximately 6 years of Windows desktop management experience.
- Approximately 3 years of MacOS desktop management experience.
- Certifications or proven work history in desktop engineering or IT infrastructure are advantageous.
