Responsibilities

🔹 Design & Engineering Deliverables

• Develop detailed designs of structural components, piping systems, pressure vessels, WHR modules, and columns based on client specifications.
• Create precise fabrication drawings from Approved for Construction (AFC) drawings issued by clients or consultants.
• Prepare comprehensive materials specifications and Bills of Materials (BOM) for manufacturing processes.
• Conduct thorough research and feasibility analysis of customer proposals, evaluating cost, maintenance, and engineering requirements.

🤝 Client & Vendor Coordination

• Collaborate with customers, consultants, and internal teams (Production, Quality) to obtain design approvals and resolve technical queries.
• Address and resolve site-related queries promptly to ensure smooth project execution.
• Direct modifications or specify system components to maintain alignment with design standards and performance specifications.

⚙️ Technical Expertise & Compliance

• Apply knowledge of relevant codes and standards such as Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR) and industry best practices in Oil & Gas.
• Implement safe heavy erection techniques and ensure compliance with engineering safety norms.
• Utilize advanced engineering software tools like AutoCAD, Bocad, and StaadPro for accurate design and project management.

Skills & Qualifications

✅ Must-Have Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE) with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, or related disciplines.
• Strong experience in structural and piping system design within Oil & Gas, petrochemical, or power plant industries.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bocad, StaadPro, and other CAD/design software.
• Deep understanding of industry standards and safety protocols including IBR.
• Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and cross-functional coordination.
