Key Responsibilities
As a Deputy Manager – Surveillance & Investigation, you will:
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly market surveillance and generate reports.
- Investigate abnormal trading patterns and initiate corrective actions.
- Perform trade and order analysis, including algo-trading monitoring.
- Develop, test, and deploy reports using Power BI, Tableau, and Python.
- Detect and investigate potential market manipulation and compliance risks.
- Monitor SEBI-debarred entities, client-member profiling, and compliance alerts.
- Conduct snap/detailed investigations into suspicious activities.
- Ensure implementation of latest SEBI circulars and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve risk management and reporting systems.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
- Professional background in Market Surveillance / Risk / Compliance.
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in financial services or market operations.
- Strong analytical and technical skills with Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Python.
- In-depth knowledge of algo-trading monitoring, trade surveillance, and SEBI regulations.
- Excellent report writing, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills.
