Key Responsibilities
As a Deputy Manager – IT Assurance Specialist, your responsibilities include:
- IT Controls Assessment: Assist clients in identifying and evaluating IT risks and controls to mitigate business and technology risks effectively.
- Regulatory Compliance Audits: Lead audits under frameworks such as SOX/ICFR, SSAE, SOC1, SOC2, ISO27001, and ITGC to ensure adherence to industry regulations.
- Technology-Driven Assurance: Utilize technology tools and methodologies to design, review, and implement IT assurance products and services.
- ERP Controls Evaluation: Conduct controls testing and assessment of ERP systems including SAP, Oracle eBS, Oracle Fusion, and Microsoft Dynamics.
- Risk Advisory: Provide advisory on IT risk management practices, business process controls (P2P, O2C, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Financial Reporting), and emerging tech risks.
- Project Management: Manage engagement planning, billing, and execution while contributing innovative ideas to challenge the status quo.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong client partnerships, identify cross-selling opportunities, and exceed client expectations.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT assurance professionals ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Skills & Qualifications
- Education: B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Chartered Accountant (CA) and/or MBA with Finance/IT background preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in IT audits, ITGC, SOX/ICFR, SSAE/SOC audits, IT financial audits, or IT risk consulting.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT compliance standards and frameworks such as ISO27001, COSO, COBIT.
- ERP Expertise: Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics) and knowledge of native application controls.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with global regulatory requirements and standards for IT assurance.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills, with strong presentation and stakeholder management abilities.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams and drive project success in a collaborative environment.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with a proactive approach.
