Responsibilities

As a Deputy Manager – Financial Due Diligence, you will:

  • Analyze target companies’ financials and business drivers.
  • Assess data accuracy, identify anomalies, and resolve directly with clients or third parties.
  • Perform financial analysis on large datasets and summarize findings.
  • Research and evaluate publicly available financial information.
  • Prepare high-quality deliverables in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Identify and report key issues to managers and clients.
  • Work on cross-border M&A transactions across industries.
  • Support business development and proposal preparation.
  • Represent Deloitte Transaction Services with professionalism and credibility.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), preferably qualified in first/second attempt.
  • 2–4 years of relevant post-qualification experience in financial due diligence, transaction services, or audit.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP; familiarity with IFRS preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills with advanced MS Excel proficiency.
  • Strong commercial acumen and market awareness.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Prior exposure to transaction advisory or M&A deals.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret large financial datasets.
  • Strong stakeholder management and client engagement experience.
  • Ability to prepare clear, concise, and impactful presentations.
