🧠 Key Responsibilities

As a Deputy Manager – NLP Data Scientist, your primary duties include:

• Design & Build NLP Models: Create state-of-the-art NLP algorithms for tasks like text classification, entity extraction, and document summarization
• Gen AI Implementation: Apply transformer-based models like BERT, GPT to solve real-world business problems
• Data Preparation: Clean and preprocess textual data, perform feature extraction using embeddings, n-grams, syntactic features
• Model Evaluation: Use statistical techniques to validate NLP model performance and ensure generalization across datasets
• AI Product Integration: Work with DevOps, Product Managers, and engineers to integrate AI models into live products
• Research & Innovation: Stay up-to-date with Gen AI advancements and contribute to internal R&D and thought leadership
• Insights & Reporting: Analyze model output, visualize insights using tools like Seaborn, Plotly, and communicate results to stakeholders

✅ Required Skills & Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Data Science, with 2 years in Generative AI or NLP
• Strong grasp of NLP pipelines, text preprocessing, and feature engineering
• Proficiency in Python or R and libraries like NLTK, spaCy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with ML-Ops, system design, and production deployment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills

• Experience with Transformer architectures (e.g., BERT, GPT-3/GPT-4, T5)
• Domain expertise in NLP for chatbots, document classification, or information extraction
