🚀 Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Sentinel SIEM for enterprise-wide security monitoring.
• Develop and maintain analytic detection rules and use cases using Kusto Query Language (KQL) aligned with MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Integrate diverse log sources from cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365) and on-premises infrastructure (endpoints, firewalls, servers).
• Create automated incident response workflows and playbooks using Azure Logic Apps.
• Monitor and optimize data ingestion pipelines, Sentinel workspace performance, cost, and retention policies.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting and deep-dive security investigations using KQL.
• Collaborate with Security Operations Center (SOC) analysts, incident responders, and threat intelligence teams.
• Participate in alert tuning, use case development, and testing to minimize false positives.
• Generate compliance and audit reports supporting cybersecurity governance.

💡 Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel SIEM and Kusto Query Language (KQL).
• Strong knowledge of log ingestion techniques and integration from Azure, Office 365, Defender, firewalls, and servers.
• Experience creating and managing automation playbooks with Azure Logic Apps.
• Familiarity with incident response processes and threat detection methodologies.
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or ISO 27001.
• Microsoft security certifications like SC-200 (Security Operations Analyst) or AZ-500 (Azure Security Engineer) preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, strong analytical mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
