Key Responsibilities
Cloud Security Management
- Design and implement cloud security architecture across Azure, AWS, GCP, and OCI.
- Conduct cloud security assessments, configuration reviews, and audits based on industry best practices.
- Apply Zero Trust principles, identity access management, encryption, and container security measures.
- Implement cloud-native security controls, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF, and cryptography solutions.
Risk & Compliance
- Develop and maintain cloud security policies, frameworks, and guidelines.
- Ensure adherence to compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CSA CCM, CIS benchmarks.
- Support risk management lifecycle activities: identification, assessment, response, and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure secure cloud environments and mitigated vulnerabilities.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead initiatives to enhance cloud security posture and mentor junior team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls in cloud operations.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to clients and senior stakeholders.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI) and associated security controls.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust security architecture, Kubernetes security, and containerization.
- Experience with risk management frameworks and compliance standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with stakeholder management ability.
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and problem-solving capability.
- Ability to work in hybrid and client-facing environments with frequent travel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud security, cyber security, or IT risk management.
- Proven experience in cloud security assessments, policy creation, and framework development.
- Familiarity with cloud security tools, compliance frameworks, and risk assessment methodologies.
