🧾 Key Responsibilities

As a Deputy Manager – Cloud Security at Deloitte, you will:

• Lead threat-based risk assessments and business impact analyses across cloud platforms and business functions.
• Conduct comprehensive cloud infrastructure security risk assessments aligned with best practices.
• Evaluate cloud security architecture and assess compliance with security policies and standards.
• Prepare detailed cloud security risk assessment reports for internal and client stakeholders.
• Collaborate with client representatives and internal teams to scope assessments, gather data, and identify security risks.
• Drive the identification, assessment, and communication of cloud information security risks to stakeholders.
• Guide cloud security control evaluations including Identity and Access Management (IAM), SIEM, IDS/IPS, container security, and zero trust principles.
• Support compliance efforts by aligning with standards like ISO 27001, NIST, CSA CCM, and CIS benchmarks.
• Develop and help implement cloud security policies, frameworks, and risk mitigation strategies.

🛠 Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Hands-on experience with cloud security controls and architectural principles.
• In-depth knowledge of zero trust security models and related technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud-native security tools and services.
• Solid understanding of risk management lifecycle: identification, assessment, response, and reporting.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for client and team interactions.
• Ability to independently manage projects with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory compliance standards.
• Experience conducting cloud security assessments and configuration reviews per industry best practices.

🎓 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or Engineering preferred.
• Cloud security certifications such as Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or vendor certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Minimum of 6-8 years of professional experience in cybersecurity consulting, with a focus on cloud security.
• Proven track record in client engagement and cybersecurity risk assessments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills aligned with cybersecurity best practices.
