Responsibilities

Coordinate, Communicate, and Align

• Lead ExxonMobil Chemical Company (EMCC) forecast processes regionally and across business units.
• Critically assess forecast data, identify outliers, and provide recommendations to maintain accurate demand signals.
• Liaise with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment and visibility.
• Facilitate demand planning meetings and coordinate forecast updates or changes.

Lead End-to-End Forecast Process

• Generate statistical (STAT) forecasts and maintain shipment history data.
• Support Sales Adjusted Forecast (SAF) creation and validate its effectiveness.
• Ensure Unconstrained Forecast (UCF) is accurate and validated by Supply Planning.
• Monitor sales volume trends, product signals, and global business outlook to guide adjustments.

Forecast Modeling, Stewardship, and Continuous Improvement

• Optimize forecasting tools and settings for improved accuracy.
• Analyze Order in Flow (OIF) and recommend process improvements.
• Monitor forecast performance and provide actionable recommendations.
• Identify analytical and tool enhancements to drive better demand planning outcomes.

Skills and Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or Statistics.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in demand planning or supply chain.
• Strong statistics and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Proficient in SAP, Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and Power Query.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in virtual/global team environments.
• Familiarity with supply chain fundamentals, demand & supply principles, and customer-oriented processes.

Preferred:

• Experience in Chemical, FMCG, Manufacturing, or E-Commerce demand planning roles.
• Knowledge of R or Python for scripting and advanced analytics.
• Skilled in forecast visualization, scenario analysis, and statistical modeling.
