Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and management of Mainframe applications (COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2).
- Coordinate team activities to deliver sprints and project milestones on time.
- Provide automation walkthroughs and demonstrations for client teams.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure smooth SDET lifecycle execution.
- Supervise data and environment coordination for project deliverables.
- Conduct automation meetings and provide clear status updates to stakeholders.
- Manage build and fix schedules, ensuring alignment with Agile timelines.
- Design, develop, and implement test automation frameworks in a DevOps context.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, estimation, and daily stand-ups.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
- Expertise in Mainframe application development and delivery.
- Excellent team management skills within Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong oral communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in automation initiatives and client-facing demos.
- Familiarity with Splunk for monitoring and analysis.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of J2ME and Spring Boot.
- Experience with test automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (B.Tech, BE, BCA, MCA, M.Tech).
- 5–8 years of professional experience in Mainframe development and project leadership.
