Key Responsibilities
- Manage data ownership for information assets across the Strategic Growth Office.
- Provide resources, guidance, and training to Data Owners, including firmwide or LOB/CF-specific initiatives.
- Review firmwide data risk metrics and drive appropriate corrective actions to maintain effective governance.
- Create and maintain data governance materials, including documentation and meeting minutes for Data and Privacy Forums.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to support ongoing governance initiatives.
- Ensure alignment with data quality standards, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in data governance, data risk management, or related fields.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to convey complex data concepts to stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of data management principles and practices.
- Proven ability to analyze complex issues, implement risk mitigation strategies, and work with senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with controls and risk management frameworks.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to develop relationships and work effectively in teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in data governance within a large financial institution.
- Advanced knowledge of data management tools and technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
