Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain batch and real-time data pipelines for enterprise platforms.
- Implement predictive and statistical models for data-driven decision-making.
- Design and implement enterprise search applications like Elasticsearch and Splunk.
- Convert and migrate databases from Hadoop to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Implement data replication mechanisms (CDC, bulk data transfer, file data transfer).
- Participate in modernization roadmap initiatives and discovery workshops.
- Analyze non-functional requirements including security, high availability, performance, and storage.
- Collaborate with global teams to identify data dependencies, database incompatibilities, and critical datasets.
- Lead adoption of the right tools and methods for data migration and modernization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields; Master’s preferred.
- Hands-on experience with data engineering, cloud migration, and big data tools.
- Knowledge of Hadoop, GCP, API exposure, and data integration.
- Strong understanding of predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and machine learning techniques.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with internal and external stakeholders.
