Summary
Chevron is seeking a Core Maintenance Planning Lead in Bengaluru, India to oversee and enhance the maintenance planning and scheduling operations for Chevron’s Refining and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) assets. This role is ideal for experienced professionals with expertise in maintenance leadership, project planning, and resource management. The Core Maintenance Planning Lead will supervise a team of planners and schedulers, drive execution excellence, and optimize integrated maintenance workflows, ensuring preventive and corrective maintenance tasks are delivered safely, on schedule, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of maintenance planners and schedulers responsible for preventive (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM).
- Coordinate planning and scheduling of all non-turnaround field maintenance work, integrating activities across operations, maintenance, and technical teams.
- Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) guidance on planning, estimating, and scheduling for Chevron-executed projects.
- Ensure development of high-quality work packages in compliance with Chevron standards.
- Drive accountability for standardized planning and estimating tools and practices.
- Collaborate with site representatives to define work scope and integrate schedules into operational plans.
- Develop tools and dashboards to streamline cost forecasting, execution tracking, and portfolio reporting.
- Partner with Construction Services teams to incorporate project scopes into master schedules.
- Lead Lessons Learned reviews for all FEL events and implement improvement initiatives.
- Manage backlog prioritization and improve maintenance resource forecasting for 5-year asset work plans.
- Support succession planning, hiring, and organizational development within the maintenance and turnaround teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or Maintenance Discipline.
- Prior experience in a Maintenance Planning Leadership role within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong expertise with planning and scheduling tools: JDE, SAP, Prometheus, Primavera P6.
- In-depth understanding of planning processes, including constructability, advanced work packaging, work planning, cost estimation, project scoping, contract planning, and materials management.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, fabrication, and inspection disciplines in complex facilities (LNG preferred).
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Experience with supply chain logistics to ensure timely work completion in remote locations.
- Excellent time management and coordination skills to align staff with operational priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of turnaround execution experience providing technical and maintenance planning support in complex Oil & Gas operations.
- Experience supporting Refining or LNG operations.
- Proven track record in mentoring, coaching, and training staff.
- Expertise in process improvement and planning workflow optimization.
