Key Responsibilities
As a Continuity & Manufacturing Engineer (IT/OT Architect), you will:
- Design and implement IT/OT architectures for manufacturing operations
- Evaluate, select, and deploy industrial digital technologies (PLM, MES, ERP, SCADA, PLCs)
- Integrate IT systems with manufacturing and operational platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (analysts, developers, project managers)
- Document architecture frameworks, design decisions, and integration strategies
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and cybersecurity compliance
- Lead IT/OT transformation projects from planning to delivery
- Support data continuity across engineering, production, and supply chain
Skills & Competencies
We’re looking for candidates with:
- Strong expertise in IT/OT architecture design and deployment
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and digital technologies
- Hands-on knowledge of SCADA, PLCs, MES, ERP, and PLM systems
- Cloud experience, ideally with Microsoft Azure
- Proficiency in programming languages and integration frameworks
- Ability to solve complex technical challenges in IT/OT integration
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Knowledge of cybersecurity standards in industrial environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT/OT architecture within manufacturing
- Certifications such as TOGAF, Microsoft Azure Architect, or IT/OT-specific credentials preferred
- Experience with large-scale IT/OT projects in industrial settings
- Familiarity with the metal manufacturing industry is a plus
