Summary

KPMG Global Services (KGS) is hiring a Consultant in Transaction Execution within its Integration & Separation (I&S), Technology in M&A team. This role offers professionals 1–5 years of experience the opportunity to work on high-impact M&A integration, separation, and transaction execution projects across industries. As a Consultant, you will support project office activities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to financial models, and prepare key deliverables. This is a unique chance to develop M&A expertise, client management skills, and global transaction experience with a leading Big 4 firm.

Key Responsibilities

Project Support

• Provide daily support to I&S management office (IMO/SMO) activities.
• Assist multiple work streams in integration and separation projects, supporting client work stream leads.
• Conduct team interviews, workshops, and cross-functional implementation sessions.
• Develop and present final project deliverables.

Analytics & Reporting

• Support synergy and separation analytics, preparing initial drafts of significant sections in reports.
• Maintain and own financial models for engagements.
• Coordinate with onshore engagement teams to track progress, clarify deliverables, and provide post-delivery feedback.

Client & Team Engagement

• Assist senior colleagues in proposal preparation and business development initiatives.
• Build strong working relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Work effectively under high-pressure, ambiguous, and flexible conditions typical in transaction environments.

Mandatory Qualifications & Skills

• MBA or PG degree in a relevant field from an accredited university.
• 1–5 years of experience in M&A or deals environment.
• Strong knowledge of Day 1 Readiness, TSA, TOM development, and synergy analysis.
• Experience in project/programme management with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, including Macros and VBA.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to international M&A projects.
• Strong presentation, report writing, and client relationship skills.
• Comfortable working with autonomy at client sites.
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, and drive.
