About the Role
As a Consultant – Technology Risk at EY Mumbai, you will help organizations strengthen their IT governance and manage risks across technology systems, processes, and controls. You will work on technology risk consulting, IT audits, cybersecurity assessments, and assurance services, contributing to EY’s mission of building trust and confidence in the capital markets and in economies worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform IT risk assessments, technology audits, and controls testing
- Evaluate IT systems, applications, and infrastructure for compliance and risk management
- Assist in implementing technology assurance frameworks
- Identify and mitigate risks in digital transformation, cloud, and cybersecurity projects
- Collaborate with client teams to design effective risk management solutions
- Support senior consultants in delivering technology advisory and assurance projects
Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in IT, Computer Science, Finance, or related field
- Certifications Preferred: CISA, CISM, CISSP, or similar
- Experience: 2–5 years in technology risk, IT audit, or assurance
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of ITGCs (IT General Controls) and risk frameworks
- Familiarity with cybersecurity, cloud risk, and IT compliance standards
- Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting, and documentation tools
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication and client engagement skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
