Summary

KPMG Global Services (KGS) is hiring a Consultant – SFS (Statutory & Financial Services) in Gurgaon to deliver high-quality financial reporting, audit support, and accounting advisory services for international clients. The ideal candidate brings expertise in statutory accounts, IFRS, Dutch GAAP, and GAAP conversion, with strong experience in audit methodology and financial analysis. Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Audit Support

• Prepare financial statements, including underlying workpapers, schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Review and analyze financial data, adjusting entries to comply with GAAP.
• Assist with technical and transaction-based accounting advisory for international clients.
• Prepare financial statements under Dutch GAAP and IFRS and facilitate GAAP-to-local reporting conversions.

Client Engagement & Team Collaboration

• Lead client and onshore team interactions on engagements.
• Train junior staff on audit procedures, financial statement preparation, and documentation standards.
• Proactively gather information and resolve compilation-related issues with internal and onshore teams.

Compliance & Technical Expertise

• Demonstrate ability to research, interpret, and apply accounting standards and tax pronouncements.
• Apply audit methodology, materiality concepts, and proper audit documentation practices.
• Maintain compliance with statutory accounts and audit requirements for Netherlands, India, or other countries.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of statutory accounts, IFRS, Dutch GAAP, and GAAP conversion.
• Hands-on experience with audit tools like Caseware.
• Ability to research, interpret, and critically evaluate accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

• CA / CPA / ACCA with 2+ years of relevant post-qualification experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Professional Experience:

• Post-qualification experience in financial audit or advisory with a public accounting firm or similar organization.
• Experience in compilation work in Netherlands, Australia, or other countries.
• Proven experience working in renowned audit firms.
