Summary

KPMG Global Services (KGS) is seeking a Consultant SFS in Gurgaon, Haryana to provide expert financial accounting, statutory reporting, and audit advisory services. The role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements under Dutch GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP conversions, delivering technical accounting advisory, and supporting international KPMG teams and clients. Ideal candidates are professionals with experience in financial audits, statutory accounts, and international accounting standards, capable of leading client discussions and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, working papers, schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Provide technical and transaction-based accounting advisory to KPMG international teams and clients.
• Ensure GAAP compliance, including Dutch GAAP, IFRS, and reporting GAAP to local conversions.
• Analyze financial data and make adjusting entries as required.
• Lead client and onshore team discussions during engagements.
• Train and mentor junior staff in audit procedures and financial compilation work.
• Collaborate proactively with internal and onshore engagement teams to resolve compilation issues.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong ability to research, interpret, and apply accounting standards and tax pronouncements.
• Working knowledge of audit methodology, materiality concepts, and audit documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in financial audit tools such as Caseware.

Qualifications

• CA / CPA / ACCA with 2+ years of post-qualification experience in audit or financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience working on financial compilation assignments in countries such as Netherlands, Australia, or other international markets.
• Prior experience in public accounting or advisory firms is highly preferred.
