Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP MM (Material Management) end-to-end implementations in S/4HANA environments.
- Configure SAP MM modules including Material Master, Vendor Master, Purchasing Info Records, Price Determination, Subcontracting, and Stock Transfers.
- Integrate SAP MM seamlessly with related SAP modules such as SD (Sales & Distribution), Finance, and Controlling.
- Analyze business processes; identify “as-is” vs “to-be” scenarios to optimize procurement-to-pay (P2P) and order-to-cash (O2C) workflows.
- Write clear functional specifications and configuration documentation.
- Manage client relationships and lead logistics teams in client-facing roles.
- Develop custom reports and handle external system integrations through interfaces and Idocs/ALE.
- Support invoicing processes including external and intercompany transactions.
- Troubleshoot incidents and resolve complex SAP MM issues with strong analytical skills.
Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills
- Minimum 5+ years of SAP MM experience, including at least one full lifecycle S/4HANA implementation.
- Strong configuration knowledge of Material Master, Vendor Master, Purchasing Info Records, and Price Determination.
- Experience with Public Cloud SAP solutions.
- Familiarity with SAP SD fundamentals and integration with MM.
- Proven experience in client-facing consulting roles and team leadership.
- Ability to document functional specs and configuration clearly.
- Good understanding of SAP integration technologies (Idocs, ALE).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (B.E/B.Tech), or related fields.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Agile mindset with ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
