About the Role
As a SAP MDG Consultant, you will work closely with business users and functional leads to implement master data governance solutions for key SAP domains. You will design technical solutions, configure MDG processes, and enable seamless integration with S/4HANA and Fiori.
Your contributions will help clients achieve data consistency, process efficiency, and compliance, supporting strategic business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement SAP MDG solutions on S/4HANA for Finance, Customer, Supplier, and Material master data.
- Design and build MDG configurations, including BC Set activations, data modeling, UI modeling, process modeling, and workflow configurations.
- Migrate and validate existing master data into MDG hub using BADI and BRF+.
- Configure and integrate Web Services/SOA Manager for search, retrieve, and replicate scenarios.
- Integrate MDG with SAP Fiori applications.
- Handle CVI, Key Mapping, and Value Mapping in SAP MDG.
- Participate in requirement gathering sessions with business users and functional leads.
- Deliver tasks assigned by project managers and team leads within timelines.
- Support S/4HANA migration projects and implement enhancements using BADI.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Hands-on experience in SAP MDG implementation on S/4HANA.
- Technical expertise in MDG configuration, data migration, workflow setup, and process modeling.
- Strong knowledge of CVI, Fiori integration, BADI, BRF+, Web Services, and SOA Manager.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel for client locations on short or long-term assignments.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Science, Engineering, or equivalent from a premier institute.
- 3–6 years of experience in SAP MDG technical implementation.
- Experience across finance, customer, supplier, or material master data domains is preferred.
