Key Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-native applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) using Visual Studio Code (VS Code) as the main development environment.
- Utilize SAP BTP services including Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), SAP HANA Cloud, and Integration Suite to architect and build scalable enterprise-grade solutions.
- Configure and manage SAP BTP components by leveraging VS Code extensions and tools to optimize development workflows.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional Agile teams to gather requirements and deliver end-to-end SAP BTP solutions.
- Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps best practices using VS Code integrated tools.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure high-quality SAP BTP applications.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation and support solution deployments post-release.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2 to 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) development.
- Strong proficiency with Visual Studio Code (VS Code), including SAP-specific extensions and debugging tools.
- Practical experience in CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) development using Node.js, Java, or ABAP on SAP BTP.
- Solid knowledge of SAP BTP services such as HANA Cloud, Integration Suite, Workflow, and API Management.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based version control integrated into VS Code.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within Agile, cross-functional teams.
