🚀 Key Responsibilities
Application Development & Integration
- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native SAP BTP applications using CAPM architecture, Node.js, and Java.
- Build data models leveraging Core Data Services (CDS) and expose them as OData / REST APIs.
- Configure and integrate SAP BTP services: HANA Cloud, XSUAA, Destination, Connectivity.
- Develop SAP Fiori/UI5 frontend applications integrated with CAPM backends for seamless user experiences.
Solution Design & Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with architects, functional consultants, and clients to design technical solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Ensure code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and adherence to SAP best practices.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to streamline deployments in Cloud Foundry or Kyma runtime environments.
SAP Best Practices
- Follow SAP’s clean core and side-by-side extension principles for SAP S/4HANA.
- Ensure robust application architecture by promoting cloud-native development patterns.
🧰 Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP BTP development and CAPM architecture.
- Proficiency in Node.js, Java, Core Data Services (CDS), and OData V4 APIs.
- Knowledge of SAP HANA Cloud services and SAP BTP Extension Suite.
- Experience integrating SAP Fiori/UI5 frontends with CAPM backends.
- Familiarity with Git-based version control, API development, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication for client interactions and team coordination.
🎓 Preferred Qualifications
- SAP Certification in SAP BTP Extension Developer or equivalent credentials.
- Experience with SAP Fiori Elements, containerization using Docker.
