Key Responsibilities
As an Oracle OTM Consultant, you will:
- Configure, implement, and maintain Oracle OTM and IoT fleet monitoring solutions.
- Integrate GPS, telematics, and sensor data into fleet management platforms.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations for fleet performance, route efficiency, and compliance tracking.
- Collaborate with IT, operations, and transportation teams to ensure seamless data integration.
- Conduct system testing, provide user training, and prepare support documentation.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Analyze KPIs and IoT data to recommend process improvements.
- Coordinate with vendors for software updates, maintenance, and integration projects.
- Maintain data security and compliance with logistics regulations.
Skills & Expertise
- Oracle OTM and IoT fleet monitoring integration
- Dashboard and reporting tool proficiency (OTBI, BI Publisher)
- SQL and data modeling concepts (good to have)
- Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities
- Problem-solving, analytical acumen, and strategic thinking
- Ability to manage change, quality, and risk
- Flexibility to travel for business needs
Qualifications
- 3–8+ years in software development or enterprise technology roles
- At least 2 years in a leadership or technical consultant capacity
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Advanced degrees or certifications in Oracle solutions are a plus
