Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement data integration workflows using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
- Define data sources, targets, mappings, and transformations for ETL processes
- Configure and deploy ODI solutions within cloud environments, ensuring secure connections and user management
- Perform data transformation and cleaning to maintain data quality and consistency
- Optimize ODI workflows for enhanced performance and scalability, resolving bottlenecks proactively
- Manage ODI metadata, including documenting data lineage and integration processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues, ensuring smooth data flow and minimal errors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver high-impact ETL and BI solutions
- Stay updated with cloud technologies and integration best practices, leveraging Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) where applicable
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) development and implementation
- Proficient in PL/SQL programming and SQL querying for complex data manipulations
- Experience with Oracle BI Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) is a plus
- Knowledge of ETL and ELT concepts and best practices
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and debugging abilities
- Excellent communication skills for clear client interactions and technical documentation
- Ability to work independently and within collaborative team environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
- Relevant certifications or proven hands-on experience with Oracle ODI, PL/SQL, and OBIEE
- Prior experience in enterprise data integration, ETL development, or business intelligence roles
- Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects in fast-paced, client-facing environments
