Key Responsibilities

• Design & Implement Microservices: Lead the architecture and development of microservices using Spring Boot to deliver scalable and resilient solutions for enterprise-level applications.
• Cloud Integration: Work with Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, and Postgres to deploy, manage, and scale microservices in a cloud-native environment.
• Manage Complex Build Systems: Optimize Maven build processes across multiple microservices, ensuring compatibility, efficient versioning, and smooth CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop Secure Web Services: Implement JWT Bearers for secure inter-service communication, integrating Login Radius for robust user authentication and authorization.
• Service Mesh & API Management: Leverage Istio for traffic management, security, and observability. Use Apigee to manage and secure APIs at scale.
• Version Control & Release Management: Work with GitOps strategies to ensure code consistency, smooth releases, and effective version management for multiple microservices.
• Quality Assurance: Implement SonarQube to maintain code quality, fix vulnerabilities, and enforce best practices across the development lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Microservices Expertise: Proven experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining microservices architectures using Spring Boot.
• Cloud & DevOps: Expertise in Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, and cloud-native deployment strategies.
• Database Management: Solid experience with Postgres and other relational databases.
• Secure Web Services: Deep understanding of JWT, OAuth, and secure service-to-service communication in microservices environments.
• Version Control: Strong command of Git, GitOps, and release management practices.
• CI/CD Pipeline Optimization: Experience in optimizing Maven build and release processes, especially in multi-module microservices environments.
• Code Quality Tools: Familiarity with SonarQube for continuous integration and code quality monitoring.

Preferred Skills

• Service Mesh: Experience with Istio for microservices security, observability, and traffic management.
• API Gateway: Knowledge of using Apigee as an API management tool.
• Team Leadership: Ability to guide and mentor junior engineers in agile environments, ensuring quality code delivery.
