Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend solutions for ecommerce and enterprise applications using Core & Advanced Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate frameworks.
- Implement data integration solutions leveraging Snowflake, including migration and fresh implementations of data warehouses.
- Build and maintain asynchronous message processing systems with Kafka to support high-throughput data pipelines.
- Develop multi-tenant, cloud-native microservices using Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate in Agile scrum teams to deliver high-quality code aligned with product requirements.
- Optimize system performance through capacity planning, tuning, and analysis.
- Maintain production environment health with focus on operational excellence, automated monitoring, and near 100% uptime.
- Write test cases, conduct code reviews, and maintain comprehensive feature documentation.
- Engage in proactive learning and innovation to enhance product capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development with strong OOP and service-oriented architecture skills.
- Expertise in Java frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, J2EE.
- Proficient in SQL/NoSQL databases including Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Elastic Search.
- Experience with Snowflake data platform, including data loading/unloading, Snowpipe, and architecture concepts.
- Strong knowledge of asynchronous messaging with Kafka.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and container orchestration: Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Docker.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in distributed systems, scalability, and fault tolerance.
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP is a plus).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher qualification in relevant fields.
- Certifications in Java, Azure, or cloud architecture.
- Experience in ecommerce or large-scale data-driven applications.
- Familiarity with DevOps and automation tools.
- Understanding of microservices, multi-threading, and real-time data processing.
- Experience in building fault-tolerant, scalable backend systems.
