Key Responsibilities
As a Consultant – IT at Flex, your responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and deploy BI solutions including dashboards, reports, and scorecards using Power BI, Tableau, and other BI tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, quality, and integrity in all BI reporting solutions.
- Build and optimize data models to support efficient reporting and analysis.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into the data warehouse.
- Provide technical support and training to business users for effective use of BI tools.
- Monitor and improve BI system performance, recommending enhancements as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end BI solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging BI trends and technologies to enhance reporting and analytics capabilities.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, PostgreSQL).
- Experience in data modeling, reporting, and dashboard design.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration techniques.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- BI certifications (Tableau, Power BI) are a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5–8 years of BI/IT consulting experience.
- Proven track record in designing, implementing, and maintaining BI solutions.
- Experience in end-to-end BI development, including dashboards, reports, and scorecards.
