Key Responsibilities
Data Engineering & Cloud Solutions
- Design, develop, and deploy data warehouse and analytics solutions on GCP
- Implement data pipelines, ETL workflows, and automated processes using Cloud Composer / Airflow
- Develop and maintain data models, BigQuery datasets, and relational/non-relational databases
Automation & Optimization
- Configure and optimize data workflows and processes for maintainability and efficiency
- Apply CI/CD processes using Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, and Docker
- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and validation to ensure data integrity
Collaboration & Client Engagement
- Work closely with process owners, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements
- Provide technical guidance on end-to-end data engineering, warehousing, and analytics solutions
- Document solutions, UAT procedures, and production support guidelines
Skills & Competencies
- Hands-on experience with GCP services: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Cloud Dataproc, Cloud Composer/Airflow, IAM
- Proficiency in GCP databases: Bigtable, Spanner, Cloud SQL, AlloyDB
- Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, Java, or Scala
- Experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL pipelines
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, Scylla, or DynamoDB
- Expertise in performance optimization and cost-efficient GCP solutions
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in GCP data engineering, cloud data warehousing, and analytics
- Familiarity with end-to-end data warehouse implementation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Location & Working Model
- Base location: Pune (also Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad)
