Responsibilities
As a Functional Testing Consultant, you will:
- Conduct manual and automated testing for web applications to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance.
- Execute GenAI testing, including prompt validation, output evaluation, hallucination detection, and bias testing.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Perform API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Work in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) to support AI application deployments.
- Analyze, debug, and document defects to maintain high-quality software delivery.
- Ensure adherence to software testing best practices and standards.
Skills & Expertise
- 2-4+ years of experience in software testing, including AI-based applications.
- Strong understanding of GenAI testing methodologies and AI model evaluation metrics (BLEU, ROUGE, BERTScore).
- Proficiency in UI testing for web applications (manual and automated).
- Hands-on experience with automation tools: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress.
- Familiarity with API testing tools: Postman, RestAssured, etc.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of accessibility testing and MLOps is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2-4+ years of professional experience in functional and AI-based testing.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and fast-paced projects.
