Summary
KPMG Global Services (KGS) is hiring a Consultant in Financial Transformation to join the Integration & Separation (I&S) Technology team within Deal Advisory. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about M&A transactions, finance transformation, operational improvement, and advisory services. You will work closely with CFOs, finance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive finance integration and separation projects, delivering impactful insights across pre-deal to post-deal phases. Gain hands-on experience with deal lifecycle management, financial modeling, process redesign, and project management while contributing to high-value global transactions.

Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Support
- Assist CFOs and finance stakeholders on buy-side and sell-side transactions across the deal lifecycle.
- Provide day-to-day support to project office activities and lead PMO tasks on small to medium-sized engagements.
- Lead finance workstreams on I&S projects, supporting client workstream leads in achieving objectives.
- Maintain engagement financials and oversee junior staff contributions on larger projects.
Reporting & Analytics
- Contribute content for financial transformation reports and deliverables.
- Conduct process analysis, process redesign, and financial system assessments for integration and separation projects.
Business Development & Collaboration
- Support senior colleagues in preparing proposals and contributing to business development initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, advisory firms, and clients to implement solutions effectively.
Mandatory Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or professional qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA) preferred.
- 1–5 years of experience in finance, consulting, or M&A-related advisory.
- Familiarity with deal lifecycle management, M&A transactions, and post-deal operations.
- Strong understanding of finance functions: Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and Internal Audit.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, financial modeling, and reporting.
- Exposure to transition service agreements (TSAs) and shared services.
