Summary

Kroll is hiring a Consultant in Decision Intelligence at its New Delhi office. This role is perfect for professionals with 3–5 years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence (BI), and cloud-based analytics. As a key member of Kroll’s Data, Analytics & AI team, you will help clients across financial services, retail, consumer products, and healthcare industries unlock value using data-driven insights, BI dashboards, and cloud automation tools. The Consultant role provides global exposure, client-facing opportunities, and long-term career growth in data strategy, analytics, and decision intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply proprietary and industry-leading methodologies to manage and govern client data assets for transactions and value creation opportunities.
• Implement data strategy frameworks including governance, quality, monetization, consumption, and enterprise data management.
• Build and deploy cloud or on-premise solutions, including ELT pipelines, modern data warehouses, and BI layers.
• Handle large datasets using advanced analytics techniques and data tools.
• Support buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements and identify opportunities for analytics-driven value creation.
• Lead mid-to-large sized projects and ensure smooth delivery of engagements across regions.
• Manage cross-functional team communications and collaborate with global colleagues.
• Deliver direct client engagement services, providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
• Assist clients in developing cloud-based automation tools for enhanced analytics and due diligence.
• Maintain high work initiative, energy, and adaptability, managing multiple workstreams efficiently.
• Travel as required for transaction advisory, financial accounting, and M&A projects.

Skills & Competencies

• Hands-on experience with MS Azure services: Data Factory, Data Explorer, Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Analysis Services, Databricks.
• Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools: PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx; familiarity with GeoSpatial analysis (Azure Maps, ArcGIS).
• Programming knowledge: Python, NoSQL, PL/SQL.
• Understanding of BI practices, visualization, and analytics trends.
• Awareness of statistical techniques: linear/non-linear regression, classification, optimization.
• Knowledge of data orchestration, ingestion, ELT, and reporting architecture for cloud and on-premise environments.
• Experience with M&A processes, including due diligence, deal structuring, financial reporting, and post-merger integration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with global teams.
• Flexibility to travel as needed for client engagements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and cloud analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s in Business/Analytics a plus).
• Proven ability to develop and implement end-to-end BI solutions.
• Hands-on experience with data analytics, cloud platforms, and enterprise data systems.
• Strong client engagement and project management skills.
