Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize data workflows and notebooks on Databricks.
- Ingest, transform, and load data from multiple sources into data lakes.
- Build and maintain scalable Spark (PySpark/Spark SQL) data pipelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Develop data models and schemas to support reporting and analytics.
- Implement robust data quality, integrity, and security checks.
- Monitor performance and resolve data processing bottlenecks.
- Stay updated on emerging Databricks and data engineering technologies.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3–9 years of proven data engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on skills in Databricks, Spark, Python, and SQL.
- Experience in ETL/ELT pipelines, Delta Lake, and data warehousing concepts.
- Proficiency with at least one cloud platform – Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices for data projects.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
