The team collaborates globally to ensure that Deloitte’s network security systems are robust, resilient, and ready for the evolving cyber threat landscape.
Key Responsibilities
As a Consultant – Cyber Risk Management, your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Managing network security programs and products, ensuring alignment with global best practices.
- Implementing and maintaining tools like firewalls, proxies, VPNs, and malware scanners.
- Supporting risk and compliance processes for security operations.
- Performing root cause analysis and developing automation-driven service improvements.
- Driving Agile or hybrid delivery models, coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Translating complex technical data into actionable business and security outcomes.
- Leading vendor and stakeholder management to ensure compliance and quality.
- Defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor service effectiveness.
- Creating detailed documentation, technical reports, and stakeholder communications.
- Contributing to Deloitte’s cybersecurity product roadmap and innovation initiatives.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong foundation in Network Security technologies – Firewalls, DDoS mitigation, TLS, VPN, Proxies, and Malware Scanners.
- Experience in DevOps environments using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and IT service management best practices.
- Analytical mindset with proven problem-solving and data interpretation abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging non-technical audiences.
- Strong collaboration and leadership skills to drive outcomes in distributed teams.
- Exposure to cloud-based security and automation tools preferred.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/BTech) or equivalent technical discipline.
- Certifications (Preferred): CISSP, CISM, PMP, or equivalent cybersecurity certifications.
- Experience: 1–3+ years in network security, risk management, or DevOps roles (financial or regulated industries preferred).
- Work Arrangement: On-site role based in Pune, India.
