KPMG Global Services (KGS) is seeking a Consultant – Business Valuation in Gurgaon, Haryana. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in corporate finance, business valuation, and financial modeling. The consultant will independently execute valuation engagements including PPA (ASC 805), goodwill and asset impairment analyses (ASC 350/360), stock option valuations (ASC 718/IRC §409A), and audit reviews. Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute valuation engagements including PPA (ASC 805), goodwill/asset impairment analyses (ASC 350/360), stock option valuations (ASC 718 / IRC §409A), and audit reviews.
• Perform financial and operational benchmarking to assess business performance.
• Structure and author key sections of valuation reports and memos, covering business overview, industry analysis, and valuation sections.
• Review and guide the work of junior team members.
• Conduct business valuation model reviews for accuracy and compliance.
• Build strong professional relationships with onshore teams through collaborative project work.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong command of financial statements and key financial ratios.
• In-depth understanding of corporate finance principles and valuation methodologies.
• Knowledge of capital markets and sector-specific dynamics, preferably Energy/O&G.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and business writing skills.
• Proficiency with research databases such as Capital IQ and Thomson Reuters.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in teams and mentor juniors.
• Self-motivated, positive attitude, and results-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Education: CA / CFA / MBA with specialization in Finance & Investment Management.
• Experience: 3–5 years in corporate finance or valuation roles.
• Sector Preference: Experience in Energy/O&G is an advantage.
