Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) for automotive systems, components, and communication networks in line with ISO/SAE 21434.
• Identify cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and risks for vehicle ECUs and protocols such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet.
• Define cybersecurity goals and develop security requirements aligned with functional safety standards like ISO 26262.
• Conduct asset identification, attack path analysis, and risk quantification.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems engineering, software, hardware, and compliance.
• Prepare comprehensive TARA reports, technical documentation, and risk assessment deliverables.
• Engage with clients to present findings, clarify risk mitigation strategies, and provide expert guidance.
• Stay updated with the latest automotive cybersecurity trends, tools, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience performing TARA or cybersecurity risk assessments within automotive or embedded systems.
• Strong knowledge of ISO/SAE 21434 cybersecurity standards and lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols: CAN, LIN, UDS, Ethernet.
• Experience with TARA tools like ThreatGet, Security Analyst, HEAVENS, or similar frameworks is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to work from the Bengaluru office.
