Key Responsibilities

🔍 Surface Preparation & Coating Supervision

• Conduct detailed stage inspections of surface preparation and coating application to ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Supervise and verify compliance with blast cleaning and coating procedures.
• Establish and monitor coating procedures based on industry best practices and project requirements.
• Ensure all coating operators are qualified and adhere to safety and quality standards.
• Facilitate permit to work (PTW) processes and conduct Tool Box Talks to ensure safety compliance before work commencement.

🤝 Interdepartmental Coordination & Vendor Management

• Collaborate effectively with execution teams and QA/QC departments for seamless painting and coating operations.
• Liaise with coating vendors and technical experts to resolve queries and implement coating solutions.
• Prepare and maintain Hazard Identification Documents and identify environmental compliance requirements related to coating activities.

📋 Quality & Compliance

• Maintain strict adherence to relevant codes and standards, including NACE and API.
• Ensure customer-focused delivery through continuous monitoring and feedback.
• Document inspection results and provide reports for quality assurance.

Skills & Competencies

• Proven experience in supervising surface preparation and industrial coating activities.
• Strong knowledge of coatings technology and blast cleaning techniques.
