Key Responsibilities
As a Cloud Operations Administrator, you will:
- Collaborate with the Service Delivery Manager to manage and optimize cloud capacity across multiple environments.
- Perform billing and show back operations to ensure accurate cost tracking and resource utilization.
- Implement cost optimization strategies to reduce cloud expenses while maintaining performance.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SUSE Linux administration and cloud operations.
- Actively participate and contribute to team discussions and problem-solving.
- Assist in developing and implementing cloud management and operational strategies.
- Monitor cloud resource usage and provide actionable insights to improve efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure and service-related issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To excel as a Cloud Operations Administrator with expertise in SUSE Linux administration, you must have:
- Minimum 2-5 years of hands-on experience with SUSE Linux Administration.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, resource allocation, and capacity planning.
- Experience with billing, cost management, and show back tools in cloud environments.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex cloud-related issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as in teams.
- 15 years of full-time education (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
