Key Responsibilities
As a Client Data Specialist at J.P. Morgan Chase, you will:
- Implement and maintain KYC standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Collect, verify, and maintain confidential client documentation.
- Execute Customer Identification Program (CIP), Minimum Due Diligence (MDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), Local Due Diligence (LDD), Specialized Due Diligence (SpDD), and Product Due Diligence (PDD) requirements.
- Review client data and processes to ensure firm-wide quality and compliance standards.
- Interpret alerts and communicate exceptions or issues to management.
- Engage with Middle Office teams and participate in KYC/AML interactions to resolve cases efficiently.
- Support compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory obligations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Graduate Degree in any relevant field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in KYC, AML, Audit, Risk, Control, or Research.
- Strong analytical, research, and data comprehension skills.
- Client-focused mindset with excellent communication and engagement skills.
- Ability to adhere to compliance standards and maintain confidentiality.
- Self-starter with high motivation, commitment, and teamwork orientation.
- Comfortable working with large volumes of client data and identifying potential issues proactively.
Desirable Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work independently, understanding of financial regulations and AML frameworks, familiarity with KYC software tools.
