Key Responsibilities

As a Lead SAP Solution Architect at Chevron, you will drive the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise asset management solutions.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and align SAP S/4 HANA EAM/IAM solutions with organizational asset management strategies.
• Analyze and implement SAP EAM/IAM capabilities to support critical business processes, KPIs, and operational goals.
• Define and document overall solution architecture, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and integration with existing systems.
• Lead cross-functional teams in implementing enterprise-wide SAP solutions, including configuration, customization, and integration with SAP and third-party systems.
• Maintain solution architecture across financial and asset management systems to ensure solution fidelity and consistency.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on SAP S/4 HANA applications.
• Stay current with SAP advancements and champion best practices in asset management solutions.
• Support troubleshooting, testing, and deployment of SAP solutions to production environments.
• Provide ad-hoc training, documentation, and user support for SAP EAM/IAM functionalities.

Skills & Competencies

• Deep expertise in SAP S/4 HANA, SAP EAM, and Intelligent Asset Management (IAM).
• Experience with ERP integrations, third-party system interfaces, and analytics platforms.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and scalable solution design.
• Proficiency in application configuration, customization, and SAP best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Ability to mentor and lead junior team members and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in SAP ecosystem, including 5–7 years hands-on with SAP S/4 HANA and EAM/PM modules.
• Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Finance, or related discipline.
• Proven experience as a solution architect in large-scale SAP S/4 HANA implementations.
• Experience in integrating SAP solutions with third-party systems, mobile platforms, and analytics tools.
• Preferred: experience in Manufacturing/Oil & Gas sector SAP solutions and enterprise architecture certifications (TOGAF).
