Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed cost estimates for refinery and LNG turnaround events, integrating inputs from contractors and internal teams.
  • Review staffing plans to ensure optimal resources for turnaround execution.
  • Validate contractor estimates to confirm adherence to rates, terms, and conditions.
  • Provide monthly cash flow reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Deliver daily cost reporting to management during turnaround execution.
  • Collaborate with turnaround schedulers, planners, and management to monitor and adjust headcounts.
  • Work with contractors to finalize cost forecasts and invoicing post-event completion.
  • Support adoption of digital tools for cost estimation and provide feedback to product owners.
  • Establish standards and norms for cost estimation and streamline work processes.

Required Skills

  • Expertise in turnaround cost estimation and budget management in complex facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, resource allocation, and turnaround execution.
  • Ability to analyze and compile contractor and internal cost data.
  • Skilled in using digital tools such as Primavera, SAP, SMART GEP, and JDE CMMS.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving capabilities.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Maintenance discipline from a recognized (AICTE) university.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in turnaround execution and cost analysis in complex oil and gas facilities.
  • Hands-on experience supporting operations in Refineries or LNG facilities.
  • Familiarity with turnaround planning, scheduling, and budget integration processes.

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of prior turnaround-specific experience in complex processing facilities.
  • Proficiency with digital permit-to-work and maintenance management systems.
  • Proven ability to proactively identify solutions and implement contingency plans.
