Responsibilities
- Lead Calypso implementation and development projects across complex financial environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues in Calypso and associated systems.
- Support diverse financial products including Interest Rate (IR) and Credit (CR) derivatives, Total Return Swaps (TRS), equities, fixed income, and foreign exchange (FX).
- Manage production, test, and development environments, ensuring seamless batch processing and job monitoring.
- Utilize Unix/Linux expertise for system navigation, shell scripting, log analysis, and process management to maintain high system availability.
- Write advanced SQL queries to analyze, manipulate, and extract data from relational databases, and manage database objects such as tables, indexes, and stored procedures.
Skills & Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of proven experience in Calypso development and implementation.
- Advanced problem-solving skills with hands-on experience troubleshooting Calypso issues in financial contexts.
- Solid understanding of financial products including IR, CR derivatives, TRS, equities, fixed income, and FX.
- Strong Unix/Linux system skills including scripting, system monitoring, and log analysis.
- Expertise in SQL and database management for complex data queries and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to collaborate across teams and clients globally.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related fields preferred.
