Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager in KPMG’s Power & Utilities (P&U) practice, you will:
- Support execution and delivery of consulting projects in renewable energy, energy storage, and emerging energy sectors.
- Develop financial models to assess viability of renewable energy and energy storage projects.
- Conduct feasibility analysis, cost trends assessment, and storage technology evaluation.
- Advise central/state ministries, nodal agencies, PSUs, and private clients on energy solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable recommendations for clients.
- Support project documentation, reporting, and presentation preparation for stakeholders.
- Stay updated on renewable energy market trends, policy frameworks, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications & Skills
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Master’s in Management, Power, or Energy.
- 3-7 years of relevant experience in power, renewable energy, or energy storage sectors.
- Strong experience in financial modeling for project viability.
- Knowledge of energy storage technologies, cost trends, and feasibility analysis.
- Experience interacting with government agencies, PSUs, and private sector clients.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable:
- Prior experience in management consulting.
- Familiarity with technical and financial aspects of energy storage solutions.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and modeling tools for consulting projects.
