Key Responsibilities
- Perform thermal and process engineering functions including the design of steam generator systems.
- Generate data sheets, GA drawings, and technical documentation for proposals and contract activities.
- Provide technical support and training during site commissioning and contract execution.
- Lead engineering tasks to ensure schedule adherence, technical quality, and hours management.
- Develop GA drawings, process diagrams, and data sheets, provide input for equipment and material estimation, and prepare deviation lists.
- Establish and implement engineering philosophies, parameters, and procedures for process controls, ensuring compliance with national and international codes.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians, providing guidance on specific technical challenges.
- Conduct basic economic studies for bids and assess contract impact of design changes.
- Participate in internal technical and project meetings.
- Engage in domestic and international travel as required for project support.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Expertise in boiler process engineering, thermal design, and steam generator systems.
- Proficiency in GA drawings, process diagrams, data sheets, and material/equipment estimation.
- Strong knowledge of process controls and compliance with ASME/IEC/other international standards.
- Experience in commissioning support and technical training.
- Ability to lead engineering schedules, mentor junior staff, and manage project deliverables.
- Familiarity with economic evaluation, contract support, and change management.
Qualifications
